Firefighting installation

For a completely new factory in North Africa, Flowmotion supplied all non-production related pumps, including a complete firefighting system in accordance with NFPA20 to supply 2 km of sprinkler piping.

The fire group consists of:

  • an electrically driven split case centrifugal pump of 616 m³/h at 78 m (2nd operating point 924 m³/h) – 250 kW motor
  • a diesel engine driven split case centrifugal pump (same output) – 8 cylinder turbo, 316 kW, Clark Fire
  • 1 fuel tank of 2500 litres
  • 1 jockey pump
